LabSmith Products Take Flight to the ISS

LabSmith microfluidic products are on their way to the ISS!

The team from the University of Louisville JB Speed School of Engineering, including Dr. Stuart Williams, will be using the equipment to study microparticles in suspension in the International Space Station’s microgravity environment. Their experiment includes LabSmith syringe pumps and automated valves, as well as our SVM Inverted Fluorescence microscope.

The experiment launched March 21, 2024, aboard SpaceX’s 30th Cargo Resupply Mission (Dragon CRS-2 SpX-30).

Congratulations to the University of Louisville and SpaceX teams, and to everyone involved in the mission!
