Mechanical Assembly Technician
Responsibilities may include:
- Assemble complex mechanical, optical, and electro-mechanical subassemblies and instruments.
- Assist in calibration and testing of various products.
- Identify and submit ways to improve processes.
- Inspect and qualify parts and sub-assemblies.
- Manage part and sub-assembly stock.
- Ensure the production area is kept clean and organized.
Job qualifications:
- Minimum 2+ years of hands on experience assembling technical systems.
- Fine motor skills for precision component assembly.
- Ability to follow written and verbal assembly instructions.
- Computer literate, familiarity with Word and Excel.
- Self-driven; ability to work on own initiative.
- Organizational, time management, and problem-solving skills.
- Strict attention to detail.
- Solid understanding of manufacturing and production procedures preferred.
- Some electromechanical assembly and soldering experience preferred.
- Ability to document manufacturing and assembly procedures preferred.

PCB Electronics Assembly
Responsibilities may include:
- Assemble complex electronic and and electro-mechanical subassemblies and instruments
- Assemble (solder) printed circuit board assemblies.
- Operate SMT placement machine (pick-and-place) and reflow oven.
- Assist in calibration and testing of various products.
- Assist in PCB component inventory ordering and management.
- Identify and submit ways to improve processes.
- Ensure the production area is kept clean and organized.
Preferred job qualifications:
- Minimum 4+ years of recent experience in electronics assembly.
- SMT, through-hole, and fine pitch component soldering skills mandatory.
- Familiarity with operating pick-and-place machine preferred.
- Understanding of electronic component, PCB, and equipment terminologies.
- Ability to read and follow technical documents (such as work orders, assembly drawings, specification charts, wiring diagrams, documentation notes, etc.)
- Computer literate, familiarity with Word and Excel.
- Solid understanding of manufacturing and production procedures.
- Strict attention to detail.
- Self-driven; ability to work on own initiative.
- Organizational, time management, and problem-solving skills.
- Ability to document manufacturing and assembly procedures preferred.
